Jim draws from his playing experience, thousands of dollars of programs and psychological studies, scouting and professional experience to deliver training designed to connect with players and help them achieve their baseball goals.

Miguel Magrass: The Professional Athlete

Miguel Magrass Bio

Miguel began his career at the University of Vermont where he quickly made his mark as a Freshman All-American.  As a sophomore, he was named to the All-Tournament Team and later earned a spot as an NECBL All-Star.  As his college career progressed he participated in the Cape Cod Baseball League and later returned to the NECBL where he helped his team to win a championship.

Shortly after his Senior Season he went on to sign a professional contract with the Midwest Sliders.  Miguel’s experience as both an outstanding collegiate player and professional athlete give him great insight into what it takes to play at the highest level.

Jim Chapman Senior: The Scout

Jim Senior began his coaching career as Little League coach.  Like many fathers, his son had a passion for baseball and he took it upon himself to become educated to give his son the best opportunity to succeed.  It wasn’t before long before the surrounding community took notice of the innovative drills that led to his team’s successes.

Shortly there after, Jim began conducting Coaches Clinics in the surrounding community and took hold of the local All-Start Teams.  As his son progressed in baseball, so did Jim’s reputation for teaching.  Jim became a baseball guru to the surrounding communities as he gave private instruction and developed prospecting videos to help players reach their collegiate and professional goals.

Jim’s “eye for talent” earned him a spot as a Cape Cod League Officer and then was acquired as an Associate and Independent Scout for professional teams.  Jim’s rise to success gives him a firm hold in all levels of baseball and he truly understands what it takes to be successful from the Little League Level all the way through the pros.
